Ron Herman of Herman Law, P.A. was sworn in to the Neil S. Hirsch Boys and Girls Club of Wellington Board of Directors during the Club’s 26th Annual Holiday Gala. The new Board Members were officially inducted by Palm Beach County Sheriff Ric Bradshaw. Held at the Wycliffe Golf & Country Club, the Annual Dinner Dance included silent and live auctions that raised operational funding for the new 22,570 square foot club. The beautiful $3.6 million facility is an educational and nurturing place for area children to attend when they are not in school.
Numerous local and national businesses graciously contributed hundreds of items to the auctions. In addition, the Board Members and several community leaders and sponsors all pitched in and donated a variety of items for the auctions. Ron would like to express his deep gratitude to the businesses that generously responded to his requests for donations to the silent auction, including Michael Minett, D.C. of Total Health & Rehab Center, The British Swim School, The Fresh Market, and Sarah’s House Cleaning and Petsitting. The black tie event raised approximately $120,000, surpassing last year’s results! It was truly remarkable to see so many community business leaders come together with a common goal of supporting the Club and ensuring that it continues to grow and prosper. We look forward to continuing to work and volunteering with the Club and actively participating in advancing its noble mission.
