Ron Herman won another domestic violence case. Ron represented a retired international business executive. The client needed a permanent injunction for domestic violence. The other party not only fought our petition, they even opposed holding a virtual hearing. After briefing the issues, the Judge granted our motion for a Zoom final evidentiary hearing. In light of the COVID-19 panedemic, courts have been holding virtual/remote hearings and trials via Zoom. The Honorable Stephanie Moon of Broward Circuit Court presided over the case.
